Sale document of Muhammad Khalil's daughter, 1918
Khanum, daughter of Haji Muhammad Khalil Tajir (merchant) from Shiraz, sells half of a farm in Fars province to Amir ‘Abd Allah in exchange for some sugar lumps and two thousand dinars. In addition, Amir ‘Abd Allah is responsible for spending an annual amount of fifty tumans, for seven years, on hiring a trustworthy person to perform prayers and fasts on Khanum's behalf.

Settlement between Mah Sultan and Aqa Mirza Kuchak, 1928
Hajiyah Bibi [Khayr al-Nisa’ Baygum Mah Sultan], the wife of the late Haj ‘Abd al-Husayn Sahib Amin al-Tujjar, has transferred all of her belongings to Aqa Mirza Kuchak, the son of her daughter, a descendent of the late Muhammad Sahib Amin al-Tujjar, in exchange for one-fourth of a rupee, with two conditions: first, that Hajiyah Bibi retains the right to spend these belongings for the next twenty lunar years; second, that after Hajiyah Bibi's death, Aqa Mirza Kuchak spend five hundred rupees for her funeral and charity in addition to hiring someone to fast and pray on her behalf.

Settlement between daughter of Mirza Aqa Khan and her daughter, 1899 or 1900
Settlement between the daughter of Mirza Aqa Khan (and sister of Shaykh al-Islam) and her daughter, in which a big and white room and its furniture are settled in exchange for three kilos of salt and a silver coin. This settlement is confirmed in by several religious leaders. Also, according to this agreement, 75 tumans were put aside for thirty years to be used for food donations for five years and four years of prayers and fasts in case of the death of Mirza Aqa Khan's daughter. The two women are not named in the document.

Settlement of Layli with Mirza Muhammad ʻAli, 1920
Settlement between Layli, the daughter of Muhammad Vali Bayg, and Mirza Muhammad ʻAli, in which she settles all of her belongings--clothes, dishes, cash and bonds, properties, and household furnishings--for some salt and pennies in order for Mirza Muhammad ʻAli to spend 11 tumans for taʻziyah and 10 tumans for prayers [to be said for her] after her death. After payment of the religious tithe, he should spend the rest on taʻziyah for Imam Husayn.

Settlement of ʻAbd al-Rasul Khaliki with his wife, Khadijah Bibi, in which he settles a piece of land for 100 dinars and a man [each man is three kilograms] of wheat with her, so that after his death she will, with the knowledge of Mirza Hasan Kavardi and Sayyid Muhammad Jaʻfarabadi, spend 15 tumans for his funeral and to pay for his lapsed prayers, fasts, and other religious duties. The wife also settled all of the forty tumans of her mahr with her husband.

Settlement and Will of Bibi Zahra Khanum, 1914
Will of Bibi Zahra, dated February 13, 1914: Bibi Zahra Khanum, the daughter of Haji Ismaʻil, settled all her properties and belongings with Aqa Muhammad Karim, the son of Mirza Rahim, for 100 dinars. It was also settled that for fifty years from that date, if Bibi Zahra Khanum is alive, her living expenses should be paid, and upon her death, 40 tumans are to be spent upon: a memorial ceremony (costing 20 tumans), prayers and fasts, and to pay her debts and those of her late son, Aqa Muhammad Husayn. Settlement between Nisa’ Baygum Jan, daughter of the late Fath‘ali, and her four great great-granddaughters, Mah Sultan, Fatimah, Gawhar (daughters of Lutf‘ali), and Khanum (daughter of Nasr Allah), exchanging one-third of a building for one hundred dinars and some wheat. Settlement between Gawhar Taj Khanum and her grandson, 1926
Settlement between the daughter of Ibrahim Khan Sa‘d al-Dawlah [Gawhar Taj Khanum] and her grandson, Ibrahim Khan (with guardianship of his father ‘Ali Akbar Khan As‘adi) over half of the Jahan Abad farm in Rigan for one hundred dinars and some wheat, the Bibi Zava’i garden in Mahdab and its water usage for one hundred dinars, and some crystal candies. After Gawhar Taj Khanum’s death, the income from these properties should be used for renumeration of prayers and fasts for fifty years, Qur’an recitations, offerings of food, and expenses for sending forty people to pilgrimage.
